Both stacraft and DoW are really good games I don't care if stactraft is a ripoff, and beside, Calling starcraft a ripoff is going alittle way overboard.

Starcraft is not like Dawn of war. It has a few similarities, but it really went it's own way.

@Kamfrenchie the reason i say Chaos reminds me of Undead is because of what the units are saying upon selection,

the Heretic say: "My life is forfeit(or something). We are here for the dark gods." it seems that they worship the power of dark, but they are still human and oppose the Emperor of Space Marines.

in warcraft 3, undead are dead people who also related with the power of dark, Arthas used to be human, but later joined the undead and opposed the humans, he killed his own father later.

more than Dawn of war? maybe, but certainly not more than an army in 40k. And you get many armies in 40k.

Chaos =/= undead

Warcraft is Heavily inspired by warhammer fantasy (which existed before too), so much that it looks like a pale copy to me.The problem is that too many things are based off warhammer.

+eldars aren't realy elf. Elf ar kind of nice, Eldars are very egoistic. +eldar teleport through webgates, night ef have moon wells or something

Ork = Orc, and both are green.

Chaos= Undead

Eldar= Man version of Night Elf

but hey, it doesn't hurt to base off ideas right? Even if Blizzard ripped off Warhammer and created Starcraft and Warcraft, the story of the two games is original, and Starcraft and Warcraft have more unit and structures to play with in each factions

no, because the universe of 40k existed before dawn of war and starcraft, dawn of war is an adaptation of 40k universe. 40 k exist since 1980 at least

Subj: The terran is more like tau technology and imperial guard ideology combined, with the space marine power armor mixed in.-Tau ?..I really dunno about that....

about that tu are one of the most advanced suits and space marine suits can take some few plasma shots so of course its not a mix xD its like the basic imperial guardsmen armour
