I have one of these SDF-1's sitting on the shelf behind me. It's pretty cool. Those Veritechs are lame, though. And man, these commercials were terrible. It's no wonder Matchbox barely sold any of these.

The Gakken stuff is so much better. Ask any true robotech collector!

Matchbox couldn't use the traditional design for the Valkyrie because Hasbro co-opted it for their Jetfire toy. I guess they had to settle for the SD formers. I heard the larger VF's could swing their legs into a guardian mode.
