Minecraft CPU brief overview

a CPU i made inside Minecraft.

32-Bytes of program memory (can hold 16x 2-Byte instructions)
2-Byte instruction words
14-Bytes of RAM (14x 1-Byte registers)
2-Bytes of user input (2x 1-Byte input registers)
8-Bit ALU (add, subtract, and, or, not, xor, left/right shift/rotate, random number)
0.208 Hz (4.8s period/ 24 clock)
4x 7-Segment Displays (with 4x 4-Bit display registers)
carry select adder/subtractor (thanks to Cananatra for pointing this out)
Can load 8-bit values into registers
Can branch conditionally
Can print 2-Bytes to the display in hexadecimal

wow this minecraft versoin isnt very old but it looks dated already

I suggest that you look up other related minecraft designs. Such as screens and specialized computer sections. I have seen a few on youtube, but if you could incorporate those things. (Im not sure exactly how minecraft works, but if you can copy, then connect, that would be amazing) It probably is different than how yours works, but I have seen some pretty cool creations.

I guess it makes sense to be able to do this kind of thing. Computers are made compkex from many-many simpler things. It is very well-consructed, how long did you say it took to build it?

I am always impressed when people are able to make something so monumental in a game with nearly limitless bounds. I never knew what you could do in minecraft. I guess almost anything, just give the right people the right supplies.
