I lived in Corpus for about a year in 2006. I didn't really like it but I had a few cool moments while I was there.

Corpus Christi fucking sucks and those who claim it's the best obviously have never lived anywhere else. I'm leaving this city next month and going back to Austin (thank God). It's old everything and everyone is 10 years behind everyone else. NO FUCKING JOBS..More than half of the homes here are run down trash..And did I mention Flour Bluff OMFG...Those fucking people are from another world in that part of town...Ive seen enough pregnant teenagers here to last me a life time....

A town is what you make it- however there are some towns that really do suck. Someday, I will live in Corpus- it is a beautiful city...

spent ages 14 to 19 in CC. Basically, if you are on disability, or have to survive on SS income, or otherwise have a home paid for, or are homeless on the streets, this is the city to live in. If you don't mind the lack of sophisticated people, humidity, and Mexico City style cops. There are no jobs other than the base, refinery, school teacher, working at what a burger. The beach is OK, its a city where you can get stoned every day and nobody gives a shit. But if you have ambition, forget it.

But seriously if you want a little taste of Corpus just look at some of the comments here defending the so called sparkling city by the bay.

@coolhandshiner No way is it awesome, the beach is a joke, the sand is always dirty with this seaweed which makes the whole place stink, the water looks like chocolate milk, you stand in the water to your knee and you cant see your feet. As far as I know the surfing stinks since there really arent many good waves. Yea its mostly Mexican, but the majority of people there are ashamed of their heritage, Spanish, no, most people dont speak it (well), but then again dont speak well English either

@captainofiron Wow I had no idea. Here I thought it was some awsome coastal town I was considering to move to. Is there good surfing? Im a white guy " Im not racist" but is the city mostly hispanic and Ive heard I would need to learn spanish. That sucks its so dirty it has the potential to be a beautiful place from pics and vids Ive watched.

@coolhandshiner I lived in Corpus Christi for about 8 years, it was the worst in my entire life. the majority of people that are stupid, rude and very aggressive. I have never seen so many people do their best to cheat their way through life. I worked in a retail store, and a customer I had never met in my life asked me if he could use my employee discount. it is the most dirty place I have ever seen, I saw a woman empty her car's trash and just left the trash in the middle of the parking lot

i hate it here its boring people are ignorant and there is no variety in food people etc etc. It also has alot of trash wana be thugs and the beach isnt too nice. I live here for right now and it sucks. Im originally from new orleans

WHY U DIDNT HAD A GOOD TIME? THOSE WERE NICE PICS. I THINK EVERY CITY IS UNIQUE. CORPUS IS COOL, IT HAS LOTS TO DO, THIS DAYS NO CITY IS BETTER THAN THE OTHER ONE, THEY ALL HAVE THERE BAD AND GOOD.
