Dallas Protest Against Israel's Attacks on Gaza (1)

The North Texas demonstrators demanded that Israel stop it's bombing of targets in Gaza. The group feels innocent civilians have been killed.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations and several mosques organized Friday's rally, and say more will be planned in North Texas and across the United Sates.

A Dallas police officer told CBS 11 News that there were between 800 and 1,000 people protesting.

While there was a police presence at the demonstration, the rally was peaceful and as of Friday evening no arrests had been made.

After beginning a rally at the Federal Courthouse in Dallas, Friday evening a group protesting the recent bombings in Gaza moved several blocks to Ferris Plaza.

The group came together to express their outrage and to pray for peace.

Sorry guys, but Hamas really did initiate the violence. Israel was then obligated, just like any country would be, to defend its citizens.

For yrs I have read newspapers from Israel and the Arab/non Arab surrounding countries.

Israel is shocked at the American reactions.

Israel historically is the only ally the USA has never condemned. May have something to do with the over 14 Billion dollars worth of weaponry we have sold them in the last decade or so.

This started years ago. 2 years ago Israel stated that Palestine was risking a "Shoah".

For 2 yrs Israel has defied the Geneva Convention.
