you are suppose to clean the inside and not the outside, not the other way around!

If your still in the market for a sling adapter on the rear check out GG&G they have one where it contours around the castle nut so you don't have to take it off. the only draw back is your stock wont lock in the 1st position. I have one on my 6940.

I have read that the Army is testing the LE6940 and might possibly adopt it as the M4A2

@NIKON777 Hey thanks. Correction on the first reply. They shot 17,600 rds thru in with no cleaning.. at 15,000ish replaced the extractor and spring. 2000+ rd later it blow behind the bolt or something. I think thats right.

Thats an awesome rifle dude. I dont think I would be able not to clean it after every time I shot it...LOL

@Ramos2905 ...you should make a video when the 1000 rd mark cleaning takes place. I'm curious to see what the gas rings and bolt are gunna look like.
