this afternoon, a plane landed on parc ave right at the foot of the mountain in downtown montreal after having an engine failure. i didnt get there till after, but here's a little video of it. it clipped one of its wings on a telephone pole but no one was hurt

Thats cause people almost never watch their tempeture and their oil. Cheking those are mandatory.

What? There is no evidence of that at all. Piston aircraft engines are highly reliable. The Nail Report shows that nearly all engine failures are the result of running out of fuel, no engine will fix that issue. I've flown many thousands of hours behind piston singles and never had any problem at all. Your opinion is not supported by fact.

SO many engine failures with piston aircrafts. Something needs to be done. Turbines (turbofan jet engines) are 117 times more reliable than piston. This is a serious concern.
