@primusjc77 What Lars thinks isnt worth reading. Charlie, Dave and the 90s Lars were my concept of what drummers should be. Las soon fell off and has become some rock ego nothing. Charlie and Dave however are still the heroes they were when I was 14...and im now 39.... not underrated by me..or true fans of this genre.
Charlie would be in the top 10 all time great metal drummers. Paul Bostaph, Dave Lombardo, Charlie Benante, Pete Sandoval and Nick Barker would be members of the top 10 for sure.

@TheMetalhead1121 yes they are. especially when you don't know any other brand :D. they are good, have very good range and stuff but have very dis-balanced sound which makes them disappear when you play them with the whole band.

@samthemansam1 Lombardo is not better. He's at the same level for sure but he can't do anything that Charlie couldn't to be totally honest. It's all about personal taste between the big four drummers(with the exception of Lars who clearly isn't as good as the other guys) No one gives Menza and Samuleson(megadeth) the credit they deserve and they are INSANE.
