the thing is there's no red cymbal input, so you wouldn't be able to have a crash cymbal in lefty mode. on the drum rocker's website, it says that there's really no need for lefty mode as you could just customize your setup with the pads reversed, ie red on the right, green on the left. that would be a good solution if not for the fact that the chart would still be going in the opposite direction.

Uh, for the lefties... I believe the problem is that the program utilized in RB2 to distinguish between no cymbals and with cymbals is either not written for lefty mode or isn't being ran for whatever reason.

I got this problem when using my real E kit even in right mode. Thats why I find GHWT and GH:M work much than RB when using a real kit..

If you plug in a cymbal to green then turn on lefty mode it will become a red cymbal.

dude i play lefty and i have the ion drums and it only acts like that in freestyle mode fuckin retard and like theQtube said just buy a Ysplitter

I'll restate, with a splitter you wont get the cymbal sound during fills, you'll just get the drum sounds.

So I get a 1/4" male that splits to 2 1/4" females, right? Then I keep one of the females empty and plug the crash into the other? And I keep it in the green cymbal port?

I recommend turning off the Dolby Digital. It introduces lag, which can't be compensated for in fills.

That seemed to help the lag a little. I have a DLP so it kinda lags with everything, annoyingly.
