he was great, and fearless is an under statement. Best Austrian racer since the cut ski revolution. But I think it is a close race between him and Franz Klammer. Who is the winner? I cannot decide.

i was calmly eating dinner with my dad while watching this. as soon as the crash happened, we both dashed up from the table and to the TV to see if we really saw what we saw. we're like, "he's dead, cuz i mean...come on".
