@enzieone Thats purple vl is exactly what i want, before i saw the video i decided I'd go with purple and 5 spoke wheels. just happens that someone had the same vision. Im still thinking about how much the usual trip to the mechaincs will cost, but if your thrashing it, well what do you expect. My knowldge mainly comes from youtube, video-games and tv. Currently doing a Pre-vocational course in qutomotive as a subject, learning some things. I'll send my e-mail via personal message.

@mydogzty Ah i know the one, think hes poured a fair bit of cash into it, its pretty mint, if you're that interested about them mate then go ahead hey, it'll be worth, i don't know that much about cars haha just learnt things about vl's over the years and theyre my favorite car so just interested about them, my vl is a 86 vl calais turbo, fully restored, white over white, rebuilt rb30et, 19'' ve ssv's.. to many things to list.. just email me bud n i'll show you photos if you like?

@enzieone LOL about mymisunderstanding about Gregories manual! At the start I'll be on stockies :) Well if you search up: IWRNDU thats the kind of VL I want but with black leather seats and re-designed dash with sick looking gauges. I greatly appreciate you sharing some info. I love cars, might do a painting or mechanic apprenticeship. Just worried that its not worth it...what you think? How do you now stuff about cars? Tell me about your VL if you dont mind. Thanks again!!!

@mydogzty and that... urhh i dunno man, my vl turbo diff ended up costing me a grand so things arent too cheap and depending on what kinda rims you want that'll be pricey too. The fuels not to bad, depends how you drive it but, its not bad making an n/a into a turbo just i preferred to go with an original turbo a8 block, harder to find but worth it in the long run (my opinion anyway) and nah the gregories manual is a booklet about the vl, its got useful diagrams n pictures etc in it :)

Well Ifigured that around the 10 second bracket you could do it cheaply with teh car costing under $3000, mods for engine $3000 for example, and $2000 left over for wheels and decent suspension or lsd.....im just saying but msotly guessing. Hey ummm hows the fuelon a VL T? And is it a bad/good thing to make a n/a rb30 to a turbo one? Will defs do the drivetrain trust me, and Gregories is the brand name 4 manual gearboxes yea?

@mydogzty the dose and many other things, ahh i not to sure about the 10sec situation, might be abit more than 8grand unless you have good hook ups, but yeh it'll be a good project car.. plenty of places to get parts and heaps of other people (including me) have done it so plenty of help at hand if you ever get stuck... um heads up advice.. if you turbo a motor dont do it half assed do it properly, sort the drivetrain out etc, buy a gregories manual and you should be right

@enzieone I totally understand what your saying. Me? Im a Japanese import-tuner style guy, even though im 16. Major turbo guy also. 8 grand is a good estimate I'd say. VL's are mainly poular for their "dose". And well they're cheap to make it a 10 sec car am I right? I just want a easy project car to save up for and then do-it-up while on my P-plates or on my last year of P's. Umm is there anything I should know when working on a VL T? Any advice or heads-up on some things?

@mydogzty its more up the personal taste mate, if you like vl turbos more than skylines or silvias etc then aim for a vl, you could get most of what you want done within the 8grand limit area or maybe abit more, my opinion i'd go the vlt just because i love driving one every day :)

@enzieone Appreciate the reply. Just asking because is it really worth spending lets say $8,000 for example sake, to make it go hard (mainly with a good turbo, sick dose, and other modifcations) look supper cool (pearl purple, even though it's sort of a girls colour) and other mods like the interior and good wheels and tints. Again, its a VL Turbo....or should I aim for something else? Such as a r32 gtr, silvia s13, supra........worth it or pick another car.
