I support the troops - which is why I want to bring them HOME

I worked for Veterans Adminstration helping disabled Gulf War Veterans in the 1990's. After seeing how crappy the treatment the V.A. gives disabled soldiers, how hard it is for veterans to get their benefits - that is why I joined the peace in Iraq movement.

I am a 14th generation American. My ancestors were in colonial Maryland in 1740

Mitt Romney has 5 sons who refuse to fight in Iraq. Rudy Guilani's son refuses to fight in Iraq. Jeb Bush's son refuses to fight in Iraq. Only 3 adult children of Congressperson/Senators are serving in the military in Iraq. NeoCons call folks who want peace communists - but NeoCons are NOT ENLISTING to fight in Iraq.

I find that interesting...ppl tend to forget about the subway attacks in the UK and a foiled plan to do the same in Germany along with a military post there. Don't want to support your troops? Then stand in front of them.

I guess the way I see it...Saddam - dictator gased his own ppl and Kurds and Invaded Kuwait....K Desert storm...should have removed Saddam then...but didn't....9/11 attacks, anthrax, Al Queada, Taliban, and other groups claim responsiblity. No-brainer go to Afghanistan and retaliate and detain extremists & insurgents. I think maybe the whole WMD and link to Al Queada and Taliban was more or less an excuse to go there to kinda correct what should have happened in Desert Storm. Just my thoughts

According to the Rockefeller report, the WMD's, Al Quida links, etc were all "substantiated by intelligence" that we had at the time.

LOL"Persecute the fuckers." I fully agree Bin Laden must go, however, Iraq was a completely different story. I'm still waiting for that evidence Mr. 169. And when you give me that evidence, don't forget to back it up with a reliable source. And when I say RELIABLE source, I don't mean, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, or Bill O'Reilly. Give me a pure, unfiltered NON-BIASED source. If you are still unfamiliar with what I mean by this, please feel free to tell me. I'll be waiting for your reply. :-)
