If you go by the thing of something can't be friends with the other because they tend to kill the other then by that logic humans can't be friends with different humans. Humans kill other humans all the time and yet I see people making friends all the time.

Why is it so hard for people to accept the idea of different (non-human) species being friends? My dog's best friend was our neighbor's cat.

@ferrozm That's not a very kind remark. In the wild or unwelcome in your house, they may be vermin but as pets they are wonderfuly charming companions. Personable and intelligent. I'm so sorry that you have a problem with domestic rats whatever that problem may be. However, if you considered thaking them up as pets, at least two or more, it might uncloud your mind and you'd realize how people can love such creatures as these and such prejudice is unwarranted.
