This Koi pond is about 2 feet deep at the shallow end and goes to 3' which is shallow for a Koi pond, but this was primarily done to display lilies. A bog filter was later added to accomodate the Koi. It also has larger stepping stones in front of the falls to allow someone to walk directly through the water returning to the pond.

  • I actually am breeding some champion Japanese Koi this year. I have been buying them from a top notch breeder and a wholesaler in the Houston area. These fish are going to range from one to two years old. The koi at my shop are from one to 6 years.
