I haven't seen H2, but I think Zombie is at his best when he goes "off the map". I liked House of 1000 corpses and Devil's Rejects for this reason. His movies have a child-like, playful (albeit deranged) charm...and I love the hillbilly white-trash dialogue Zombie is so good at. Keep the lunacy coming. Mr. Zombie.

Everyone ranting on Rob Zombie's films completely did not get the point. Michael Myers is a a legend who's managed to stick around for over 30 years...and you know why that is? Because his story is allowed multiple interpretations. There's John Carpenter's vision and there's Rob Zombie's...not to mention Dwight Little, Dominique Othenin-Gerard, Steve Miner, etc. All are equal and valid.

Michael is so angry and people keep getting in his path or pissing him off and he's pissed! It makes sense. He wants his sister. That's it. He has no respect for human life. Scout (Laurie) is amazing. She is smart, but she's TRAUMATIZED!!!!!!!!!!! duh
