@eggory Well, not exactly. He didn't explain that the first two rows of buttons are just bass "notes" not chords. So if you just wanted to play a walking bass line of single notes... you can do that too. (But it's a lot harder.) With a full-sized 120 bass button accordion, every possible note and chord (Major, Minor, Seventh, Diminished) is available.

Hm so basically you can only play the chords layed out for you in the design of the instrument. I did not know that.
