@BrickhouseB2 True-Backlund gave the worst interviews ever, so bad that lots of people went nuts with disgustful rage, of course watching him in the ring was another story-one incident I recall was when he was in a title defense fight at the Garden against big Don Muraco-we were shocked to see Backlund violently slap him like an abusive husband. Later on Moroco was hurting bad and laying in the fetal position, Backlund forced an open hand under him and lifted him onto the turnbuckle with one arm

The good ole days when people didn't get their panties in a wad over stereotype comments like watermelon and picking cotton. Like Blazing Saddles the brother came out on top just like the Pantera feud with Atlas. I also remember some interview when the late Gino Hernadez called Manny Fernandez a wetback. Bring those days back when people didn't get offended at the drop of a hat.
