I am surprised to see that my fav game for like 4 years that I COMPLETELY forgot about was still played, and isn't that obsolete even in 2010!

Dude, there are 2 shortcuts in Papu's Pyramid. Right before you get to the finish line, There's sort of a big U-turn. You can cross over to the other side of the track by jumping in between the U. :)
