305's do last 4 ever...they dont have enough power to hurt themselves....dont get me wrong though they will turn the tires

why not buy a boat

@chevy79383 you could do a 6 inch lift and run 35s mine had that and I still dove it daily.

hey guys i got a 1979 chevy k20 with 305all stock just put a throw away motor in daily driver what size lift and tires would be good nedd help thanks

use a military vehicle axle a solid swap, doing a van

sounds good dont know but the low rpm i run my 305 wide open i back out when the valves start popping but its pulling 38s has broke 2 driveshafts and twisted rear diff housing off the tubes 3 times not bad for a throw away motor

wow nice but the 305 with the 2blt mains arnt the best engine for mudding but keep her in the lower rpm range 4k shell last nicly

C/K Series is two models. C = 4x2, and K = 4x4. K10's for the most part, have solid-axles and some of the 2WD models didn't.
