  • steve get rid of that gas engine and get an electric dc motor no more gas oils antifreeze hoses exuast gastank all gone and no transmission either look up ev motors on youtube

  • @skullin67 ya that sounds like a great plan LOL

  • And you lose around 20 horse power, waste of money for a power you can not even use.

Now if you engine is electric and you need huge charge i can understand otherwise is retard.

  • @Keysforge its for the system you stupid fuck, i use it every day......and FYI: nobody cares what you "understand" or what you think is a "waste of money" lol

  • @meade916 and mead you get better idle by using a swtich to shut off all the alternators and run on battery at idle. You don't need a 240 amp alternator to get a better idle. Who sold you on that idea?

  • @sanity599 what makes you think you know more about this then me? lol

  • @meade916 well you posted what you know. So it's easy to compare. And besides switching the alternators off an old street racers trick to get a little more out of the engine. You turn off the alternator right before you race. This could be just enough to get your bumper in front of the other guys.

  • @Keysforge This guy just doesn't get it. You don't use and electric motor to make electricity. There is no such thing as an electric engine there are electric motos.

  • thats not an automotive engine. thats a GM brand gas powered generator with a PTO output to power some wheels lol.

  • @gabrieltgh Each one of those are 270

  • Great work! I have an Escalade 205 with a 140W factory alternator. I don't know why GM did that. It's like the little dingy oil filter they use too. Anyway, good to see some good ole American Engineering at work and I like the way you put the tensioners there to max output.

    Hats off!

  • steve i have a question for you. when you wire multiple alternators to your electrical system do you just wire the harness' on all of them in parallel?
