Old Skool Roots is a fresh weekly night, taking you back to the roots of hip-hop and reggae music at the brand new Café Oz in GK1. The concept is simple: we'll be spinning everything from classic hip-hop to rocksteady, ska, dancehall and roots reggae all night long, while also featuring some of the best local and guest artists from in and around Delhi in a laid back, relaxed environment. Praxis and Sultanate Selecta (of BASSFoundation), and Mr Herbalist, Diggy Dang and DJ MoCity (of the Reggae Rajahs) are joining forces to bring a rotation of deejays and emcees playing a midweek mashup of tunes that laid the foundation for hip-hop and reggae music around the world. Remember, this ain't no fassy-boy pop-charts ting.... at Old Skool Roots you can expect to hear the real deal!
