Yamaha is certainly a reputable brand but I didn't had a chance to try the KX8. I'm pretty sure Yamaha KX8 has better feel than my Axiom. i was told the 88key feels like the like the S90. the 61key feels like a toy though.I just hope you're don't work with Logic cause I heard they don't match well.

i though the mpc was cool too but for the same price as one -actually less- i bought a laptop and the akai mpd24.hope ou keep up with the posts.
