A Walmart in Idaho Falls that sells long term food storage items. I have heard of Walmart stores in Idaho, Utah and Wyoming that have these "Preparedness Centers". This one in Idaho Falls has a section containing freeze dried foods along with wheat, beans and rice. There are water barrels and gamma lids also. They carry this stuff in certain areas probably because of the prevalence of people who are more self-reliant.

  • I spend 200 bucks a month on this stuff. Its spendy, but I can shelve it and forget it for 10 to 30 yrs. I found the everyday canned goods were hard to keep track of and I dont eat enough canned goods to justify a years worth. Mormons may have wacky Ideas about god and heaven, But they know their shit when it comes to self preservation

  • Im moving to idaho for several reasons:

    everyone there is prepping

    least ammount of gun laws

    militias

    least ammount of blacks/mexicans

least stupid people (they dont watch jersey shore and get there news from CNN)

  • Big Brother is watching every time we swipe

    Our debit card. Good info!!

  • Feel Lucky because none of the Wal-Marts or any other stores in the Indiana area have this stuff on their shelves. I guess that is because most of the people here are turning into an Obama welfare state and just want to ride the free ride and depend on the government to support them.

  • great vid.

  • I just checked and BJ's Club, Sams's Club, and Costco all have Long Term Food Items in bulk and individually canned. And you can order online , get it shipped straight to your door !

  • i wish the walmarts in arizona did this. i spend $150+ a month on things like this so if walmart had them i'd be set since there's no warehouse type stores for survival equipment, etc. just military surplus stores with way over priced MRE's which are good for when you're a soldier and on the go but they do not last as long as freeze dried foods do. only thing that sucks is you'll have to use your store of water to rehydrate all this lol

  • Better Buckle Up People! It's going to be a bumpy ride! Long Live the Republic!!!

  • @4everhdt It's mostly mail order.

  • i cant find the products anywhere.

  • We have a giant walmart and they dont have anything like this.
