Salisbury Fire Department , District 11 RCMP and NB Ambulance services responded to a Accident with injuries around 12 Noon, on the Trans Canada Highway by the Lower Mountain Road overpass , the same place as yesterday that had the highway blocked due to a multiple vehicle accident, all caused by blowing and drifting snow. A Female in her 60's was transported to hospital with shoulder and knee pain, along with a Male in his 70's . D.O.T. were called to look after a few areas on the TCH that are causing vehicles to loose control and go into the ditch or median. Same time as this accident there were others at mile marker 418 went off the road due to the drifts & a white Honda at 12:15pm lost control ending up in the ditch at mile marker 416. High winds blowing the snow from yesterdays storm back onto many roads and highways in Moncton and surrounding area. District 11 RCMP dealt with traffic awaiting tow trucks , down to one lane in the West Bound Lane tied up traffic for about 2 hours.

don't know the temp but in just a few minutes the tips of my fingers were frozen with gloves on and tip of one ear .

There was a head on collision around 7:00am this morning on Champlain St by the Iriving / airport. By the time I found out it was too late. Hope everyone was ok

yes I think they had another one not long after that in the same area, salt trucks were needed in alot of trouble spots that the wind caused .

Funny we (Salisbury Fire) were called today, though we weren't yesterday. Not sure if Moncton Fire attended yesterday or not.
