every guy starts out in juniors, bob probert wasnt bob probert always. do you know what its like to be at your first camp ever, shaking everywhere, pissing every 10 minutes knowing the fighter from the team the year before who led the league in fights is coming and you have to fight him that night, after already fighting earlier that day. all to impress a bunch of old men in suits in a press box? youre gunna shit on MY playing experience because im 18? what have you done? read a fucking book?

what did you quote from a book? that hitting a guy when hes down is against the code? we all fucking know that, every fighter at some point has done that more then once. it happens quite frequently. yet you freak out about it and make a big fucking deal over it. remember when probert headbutted bob magill? probert was the most respected enforcer of all time. he even pulled cheapshots, every guy has. mirasty jumped deveaux for a cheapshot earlier in the game. deveaux wouldnt go, problem solved

ive heard stories from war veterans, watched documentaries, read books, and studied it and done presentations on world wars in school, does that mean i should spout on about it on the internet like ive been there and done that when i havent?

@ProbertFan21 ..so let me get this straight.....if I quote from a book.... verbatim.... what I am saying has no credibility???.. interesting....and I dont need to play hockey(although I have) to render an opinion on a video page...... actually your experience which is likely very minor league... hardly relates or can be assumed to duplicate the experience in the NHL....... so dont speak as if you are an authority on the league.

so you sit on your couch and read a book and you know more about fighting in hockey then someone who has actually had to go out and do it? i respect the guys who write the books, theyre accomplished. but to think you know anything more then someone who has done it firsthand because you read a book is fucking retarded. until youve done it no amount of reading will ever give you any credibility

and mirasty was getting revenge on deveaux for a cheapshot earlier in the game and deveaux wouldnt go so nasty jumped him. anyways, im sure those books you read make your whole viewpoint on the code much more credible then my actual playing experience and mirastys 400+ career fights and counting.....

i find it hilarious you think you know the code from reading a book not actually being on the ice and fighting. this originally started with you complaining over mirasty nailing him when hes on the ice, then you whine and complain it was dirty and that you lost al respect for him. when if you knew anything youd know EVERY guy at some point who enforces has nailed a guy when he was down. yet you make a huge deal out of it, letting me clearly know you have no clue what youre talking about

toe2toe4life is 100% correct here. Mirasty did his job as an enforcer to a tee! Deveaux needs to pay the price and be held accountable for his actions on the ice. Mirasty gave him plenty of chances in this game to fight straight up but Deveaux was a coward. "The code" has grown to a mile long list and has gotten blown out of proportion. There is a time and place for "the code" and times "the code" needs to be thrown out the window. This was one of those instances. Great job Nasty!
