@Lisat1109 how much defence spending does it take to make you feel safe? Ron Paul would leave you with a Defence force that's still four times larger than China's. At some point you gotta say enough is enough. It would be the same size it was in 2006. Did you feel exposed back then?

@Cornampoo - I agree with you on the spending. I'm not against you, but instead of downsizing the military what do you think about putting them on our borders to catch all of the Middle Eastern heroin coming in. We haven't had this huge of a heroin problem since the 60's-70's. Citizens who live around our southern borders have posted videos of Mexican cartels bringing in huge quantities of heroin that the Middle East brings in through South and Central America. Our young people are going for it.

@Cornampoo - Just an observation...I noticed that you spelled color like the Brits do. I was an artist for years and I notice little things like that. Like spelling gray as grey. Grey is the Brit way of spelling it. Nothing wrong with that, I was just curious. Have a great day!

@Cornampoo - all the more reason not to dismantle the military. With economic collapse on our horizon, our enemies see us in a weakened state and therefore ripe for the picking. Why don't people understand that? We need to get rid of all the new Govt programs that Obama is creating (without Congressional approval mind you) and STOP SPENDING MONEY WE DON'T HAVE!!) The main purpose of our Govt is to defend us. It's right there in the Constitution if anyone would bother reading it!
