Mehndi (or Hina) is the application of henna as a temporary form of skin decoration, most popular in South Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and Somaliland as well as expatriate communities from these areas. It is typically employed for special occasions, particularly weddings. It is usually drawn on the hands and feet, where the colour will be darkest because the skin contains higher levels of keratin, with which the colourant of henna, lawsone, enters a permanent bind.

  • ithink the henna is beautiful and very feminine ....

  • sorry but tht designs r not nice

  • Horriblee!

    No Offence

  • The one with sticks is how they did it in ancient times, but you cannot really do intricate designs with those, it would take hours! But I like seeing both the ancient and "modern" way

  • the mehndi done with the cone is ok but the stuff done with the stick is as sumairalfc said horrible

  • i like it but prefer to use stencils

  • No offence but itz horrible..
