This video is the 2nd video giving a virtual tour of the Brazosport Bicycle Tour #1 offered by Discovering America on 2 Wheels. This tour takes place in Lake Jackson Tx part of the Brazosport Area. This video begins with an approach to the alternate entry point for the Abner Jackson Plantation Site where a tour of the site along the shores of Lake Jackson is planned. The Enchanted Oak, the symbol for Lake Jackson Tx, is on this property. The tour continues with a cycle around the Lake Jackson Farms Loop which circles the lake of Lake Jackson and passes the Dow Plantation House before emerging on Highway 332W which leads us shortly to the Gulf Coast Bird Observatory - a 34 acre wooded oasis for birds and bird watchers nestled along the shores of Buffalo Camp Bayou. The GCBO has bird banding on the 3rd Saturday of each month. After a tour of the GCBO site, the tour will take a route through Dunbar Park and along the Oyster Creek before emerging on That Way St which takes us by the beautiful Shy Pond Park and into downtown Lake Jackson from the north.
