It Gets Better Project - A Poem Spoken by Lesbian Poet, Annabel Lee from the Seaside

I wrote this poem after learning about the It Gets Better Project. I hope it inspires someone to hold on to her or himself OR to create something of their own. I hope that the message you hear when you listen is not simply the negativity of the past but the hope for the starting and stopping - for the future (which is now my present!).
