The church, religion, people and nature co-mingle in the spiritual experience. I think Stevens has found here, the best of both worlds and rightfully points out that both have their legitimate place in worship. Nature and religion do not conflict but contrast. I was not familiar with Steven's work before discovering this from his journal which was included in a book by Thomas Moore called "The Education of the Heart." I was also not familiar with Chappell's work but grateful to have discovered it.

  • Hello, came here to thank you for your comment. Then I was "captured" (right word?;-)) by your video. Very, very well done, enjoyed watching it.

    Best wishes, Frank

  • @FrankRMusic Thanks Frank. I put this up because it gets so few views of it. Who has ever heard of Wallace Stevens? But I really like his analogy. Whatever video I feature here always gets a boost in the number of views it receives. I remind myself that one view doesn't mean they watched the whole thing. I think part of the problem with this is it takes a few slides before the message kicks in. : )

  • Really beautiful... You truly can see the Artist by looking at His Creation.

  • @721Loretta Thanks for watching and subscribing.

  • Now this is a true masterpiece Jeff.. Oh how I would love to crate atmosphere like this in my video's.. you have a God given talent for this!!

  • @RuthsYoungest - Hi Berit. Thank you. You are an ever so kind and gentle, loving soul. Practice, (Lord knows I've done a few of these since I started.) certainly helps. It's hard for me to believe that, all total, both here and at Viddler, I have created well over 50 videos. A few that are of a more personal nature because they are about family or I used only my own photos remain only on the Photodex site because I thought they weren't worthy. Perhaps I'll post one of them to YouTube someday.
