The track "missing her then" from Espen Lind`s infamous debut album "Mmm prepare to be swayed" when he went by the name SWAY.

Some of my friends told me to upload it, so here it is.

I think Espen Lind sounds alot like Prince on this album, any of you agree?

  • this is all espen, a rose by any other name is still a rose

  • Guess your right, but had he continued under the name SWAY he woud pretty fast have become "dead" and forgotten. This is the only track that stands out from that album as well, probably why he rereleased it on one of his later album when he decided to go by his own name.

  • hello knutby! thank you for putting this beautiful espen song on ur channel. he, crystal bowersox (holy toledo) and joshua radin are my contemporary faves. singer/songwriters all, and all so good. now, if we could get them to put their very bright noggins together, the collaboration would be over the moon!!

  • Beautiful Voice. <3

  • Oh, just to listen to Espen's voice; that falsetto of his he just "floats" to, so effortlessly. If just listening to these moving lyrics sung by Espen's amazing voice doesn't move you, well -- I can't imagne it not doing so. Thanks for posting this. Perfection by Espen yet again.

  • just love this song love Espen's voice thank you for sharing

  • This is the very first time I've ever heard this song by Espen Lind. It touches the heart. Surely he wrote this, as the lyrics are so beautiful, and as always, Espen sings it with such feeling. Thank you knutby for sharing this one. It's definitely a new favorite of Espen's for me.

  • Nice. A few of his early records could sound like Prince, but in my opinion this one sounds like Espen Lind :)
