Wizards In Winter - Piano Entry

TSO Wizards In Winter Contest - Piano Entry. I crerated this video in much the same way you would see a video on MTV. I am playing in the video, and this is my actual piano track. When I was recording the video live, either the piano sounded too loud, and drowned out the TSO recording, or the piano couldn't be heard. SO, I used the video I shot, but I had to remix the piano audio. So I re-recorded the piano and mixed it with the TSO recording to produce the video. My original file came to somewhere around 500 MBs. Youtube only allows the uploading of 100MBs, so the video quality had to take a hit to make the requirements. I used a MacBook Pro, A DV Camera, Garageband, and Final Cut Express to piece the video together. The snowman scenes were created using Photoshop.

Nope. If I recorded myself at a slower speed and then sped up the recording, the pitch would also go up. I think it's because of the resolution.

My original file was around 500 MBs. I had to sacrifice some quality to get the file below youtube's 100 MB restriction. Also, I used Final Cut Express, not iMovie.

i dont think they meant creativity of the actual recording of it, then that makes people unsure whether you could have just laid down multiple audio tracks of you playing since we cant see you live, but regardless good job, got most of it right
