I played gow1 for an hour today and got to the desert and killed 1 siren, ran around a bit opening up chests until the game frooze. Had me scared my ps3 would get dre. I didn't see those steps. I was running around the same are which is probably why I didn't the other sirens.

I recorded all secret chests locations in gameplay videos, I just split cutscenes.
