This 516 lb Mako was caught in the Gulf of Mexico Labor Day 2007 as per my video shot at weigh-in at Orange Beach Marina at Mobile Big Game Fishing Club for Island TV Gulf Shores, AL. @suitelifelover495 I'm pretty sure the State Marine Biologist there took some sample to the state labs for testing. I understand they test to see the health of the shark population in the Gulf. Just MHO.

@studdgageI DREAM of being in one of your states buddy! I live in the ass end of the world! The Middle East. Lebanon to be exact. And animals are not so respected in these parts of the world unfortunately.... HUH! Come to think of it, not even people’s lives for that matter! :-P

Any way, thanks for your views, you were quite right! :-) BUT NOT ABOUT THE SLOUGHTER OF SHARKS! I’m sure this guy did not make shark chowder out of this poor animal! ;-) He just wanted to show off his kahunas!

@Soard666 well that would be your states fault for not putting a limit on there animals. But on wild hogs they do want them killed off because they are not native, and are very harmful to the environment very harmful, they cause erosion very extensive crop damage and cost you and the rest of the citizens a ton of money in taxes to pay for the damage they cause. But as far as making the bores extinct is almost impossible they can have several litters a year rangeing from 6 -18 young at a time.

@studdgage I have a confession to make… I’m actually one of those people. ;-) Birds and wild bores where I live are almost going to become extinct from uncontrolled mass hunting! All kinds of birds! So what I used to do when I used to live in the village, is load a special short barreled shotgun with blanks, look for hunters, and when they are about to shoot, I fire in the air driving away their game! I now live in the city...

@studdgage I did used to be a hunter, a very brutal one at that. But I’m ashamed of my past… these days, I’d even honestly prefer to kick a cockroach outside the house instead of squishing it.
