hey man love all your covers of the roses there all fantastic. i'm a massive fan of reni too, can i just ask do you just work these out yourselves or can you get the tabs from somewhere?
-
sounds like a maximes tune. ruined a beautifull song.
-
When are you gonna do a Daybreak drum cover, mate?
-
Well if we're being pedantic then Reni only used one tom (floor). Agreed whatever you're doing to record your cymbals isn't doing your great drumming justice.
-
I hope Reni sees this video and decides to dust the sticks off. Well done man, you got da funk

Okay, i'm gonna be pedantic here! Terrific playing, mate. You captured Reni's swing. A wee tweak of the drum mic's would've been nice. Also, a second floor-tom or single tom would just fatten the sound a touch. Not big on the cymbals either. Other than that, i'm bowled over by the jaunt down Reni lane. Okay, i'll shut up now. Oh, one last question: how come nobody offered Reni a kings ransom to hook up with their band? I'm baffled. Long live the king i say!
you're an excellent drummer, but the cymbals sound like crap...

Actually I don't like the sound quality of this video, it's uncomfortable. I feel like making another version. Thanks for the comment.

try some more challenging. like daybreak or love spreads, this is where reni fully showed his skills. the constant hi hats while playing the ride.

I agree with you. Reni's authentic talent bloomed in the second album, especially in the songs you've mentioned. It's a bit hard but next time I'll try Love Spreads.
Thanks for the comment.
