Lester and Earl did many years ago but it's a good'n. We were on the same bill with Dave Evans, Ralph Stanley 2 and Daley and Vincent. The festival got moved inside due to a horrific rain storm. Hope you enjoy!

  • I like your version of this I also like Lester and Earls But the best version I have ever heard is by Earl Taylor with the great Walter Hensley picking flawless banjo.Walt has to be among the best. Keep the up the good work.

  • I used to play with Jim McCall and he's told me stories. I have listened to Walt and think he's fantastic but his picking's just not for me. If you haven't noticed, I really like Earl. I never got into Shelton, Fairchild, etc. I do like JD and Sonny. Thanks for the comment!

  • Yes I have noticed ccould not keep from noticing that you pick as close to Earl as possible and that is a good thing.
