Ms. Anderson: You've been tardy too many times, and your excuses are running dry.

Nick: *Shocked* But, Ms. Anderson,

Ms. Anderson: I don't want to hear another excuse, I'll give you 2 weeks to stay and find a job, after that, job or not, you're out. Got it, Nicholas?

Nick: *Clears throat* Yes, Ms. Anderson.

Ms. Anderson: Good. Run along to your daily business.

Nick's POV

Except how was I supposed to do that when I just got fired from my first paying job and needed to pay rent soon? Great. Just perfect. I felt like punching something, like Ms. Anderson's snooty face, but that wouldn't have done much good. I walked out, concealing my anger.

Unemployed and girlfriend-less (by choice), what's next? The Christmas Reunion?
