16 Feet Radio Contrl RC Bird by HaddadRC

amazing size and creation, Mike has made a record breaking size of 16 feet wing span radio control flying bird. the wings are 2 pieces which slide in and out, she flew great but needed more power, a bigger motor and bigger battery in mAh would take this thing sky high.

LOL, the title is 16 inches. I suppose something on the huge bird is 16 inches, but you said 16 feet for the wing span, so I suppose the title needs correction. Love the idea, but all that bracing must be a huge drag, and would shorten the flight time in a big way. I am wondering how you transport it to the flying site. Must be using a trailer, or open bed truck. Love the idea.

Flying wires on top and a carbon fiber strip along the 'spar' on the bottom might give you the rigidity you need without the weight of that trellis setup.
