that is because you think it is about ron paul, it is about the constitution. even if they dont seat ron paul delegates, they have helped to make rule changes that will change the way the state is governed. this year is far more about the next election. the sooner that people realize that the delegates do much more than cheer on one man or the other for president, the sooner they take back control of the laws of their state. they may lose this battle but now they know the truth and can fight!

To the guy scorning RP supporters not know ing Robert's rules- I watched this also on TVW (before the video was pulled)!

ESSER HIMSELF doesn't know Robert's Rules- he has some party official sitting next to him whispering in his ear, this is why he takes long pauses and such- you can't see the guy sitting with him from this vid. Esser is an embarrassment, he's the chairman and should be well-versed.

As far as I could tell, the McCain campaign was only interested in stifling debate on any issue so that RP people couldn't have any influence on their supporters. (I guess they didn't trust them to make the "right" choices.) This was a consistent theme throughout the convention - they were CONSTANTLY making motions to just pass every resolution/platform as-is without debate. When they walked out, it was to prevent any more resolutions from being debated. Too bad for them that it backfired. :)

I think it was more celebrating our PCO drive. It's from the bottom up is how the revolution will work, no other way. ;)

We needed to seat these alternates for all the delegates that were not present. This video is at the beginning of the whole convention and alternates had not been seated yet. I think their votes should have counted.
