  • Can we get a series showing how to build a computer? From parts assembly to bios to benchmarking (you have some vids on this. so maybe just reference them)

  • Hmm, I prefer double semi-thin lines, but I guess a semi-fat line works too.

  • Man,you might be right, but if you use a good quality termal compound, and you spread it carefully, than press a bit the cooler,I think it's ok...Maybe I am wrong, and I excuse myself if so,but since I spread the t.c. ,and not just spread it by pressing the cooler,it's superok... never surpassed 55°C...Peace y'all!

  • @remusccr If you spread your compound you make air bubbles, which are no good for cooling.

  • Dude, get real!If you don't spread the thermal compund with a card or smth alike, you'll have biiiig chances to see the CPU overheating like hell...the thermal compound doesn't always spread correctly if you just press the heatsink on the CPU...I've been through that shit before...

  • I'm sorry dude but your machines are a joke....

You might know how to build the things, but they are wayyyy overpriced...

  • when you're tightening a cpu cooler you should ALWAYS tighten the screws in a diagonal fashion, slightly tightening each one until all of them are completely tight, to ensure that even pressure is being applied across the surface of the cpu and motherboard.

  • you should put the paste on, press the heatsink on it, then check if paste covers the heatspreader or chip. if not you apply some more paste put the heatsink on it and check again. only after everything is well covered you finaly apply the heatsink.

  • that heatsink! what do you feed it?!

seriously though, thx for the video. first one i found that also showed the sink being mounted

  • interesting. always wondered how to apply thermal paste
