Connie lip-synchs her mega-hit "Mama" on "The Dick Clark Saturday Night Beechnut Show" in early 1960, as her album "Connie Francis Sings Italian Favorites" was rising on the LP charts and the single was reaching the million-selling mark in the U.S. (There is a brief interview with Dick Clark at the end of the performance.) Because the song was so popular, she released it on a single that year, although she recorded it for the album in late 1959. I overdubbed her high-fidelity recording of the song in place of the old lip-synch soundtrack on this tape, but I was not able to get a 100-percent match, despite several cuts and edits that took hours. Still, it's quite close and I think it looks and sounds better, thanks to the computer work. It's a fun piece of "transitional" Connie....as she crossed over from teen idol to a singer equally at home with more sophisticated adult audiences.

@chompo7 Hi, Joe! What's the program? I had to do a lot of work on this one and would love to know how to do it easier. Let me know, please. Thanks! -- Ken

nice ken
matching the synch would be hard because the film may be sped up or slowed down.you need to have a program that can change the speeds to match.
not hard but a bit tricky.i did it on a few of my vids
