A large proportion of the forward momentum is produced through the Breaststroke arm pull swiftly followed by a powerful leg kick. Contrary to some thought, it is important to keep the pull narrow and deep.

  • so, when I start learning this, do I start with the legs or the arms?

  • @mipmipmipmipmip I would focus on the arms first as it can be challenging to practice arms only when learning Breaststroke.
