I have one with the 2.26Ghz P8400 Dual Core, 2GB RAM, 160GB SATA HDD, and the Intel GMA X4500. Mine has a PCI express slot so it would be possible to add a dedicated graphics card if I could find another one out of a similar T500. I also want to find a 9 Cell battery for it as my 6 cell is a bit run down. Do you know where I could possibly find parts for my T500? Perfectly good laptop but there are others out there with better parts in them so it would be worth a look.

I had bought a T61 and I really didnt enjoy it, I had bought it to replace my old R61i so I than saved up and got a brandnew R61out of the box with 1 year warrenty with the Nvidia NVS 140M I couldnt be more happy except no finger print reader. I wouldnt switch right now to the R500 or R510 sometimes the original are better.

On the t500 do you have the 6-cell battery or 4-cell. I know on the t400 the 6-cell sticks out the back but is it the same on the t500?

Dear shuyin200,
The T500 in this video had 6 cell battery which does not stick out. But the T500 I have now is different and has a 9 cell battery which does stick out but its worth it!

My new T500 has ATI mobility Radeon HD3650. I am not much into graphics stuff and its dynamics but I have been playing COD4 on this and it works great. No flicker, no stuck, no slowness, absolutely nothing.
It works fantastic.
