Are you telling me that it's Polly Klaus' parents' fault she was abducted, victimized, and killed? If my Granddaughter were ever hurt, would you like me to blame my daughter? No, I did not say that, Polly is different. Adam Walsh was left in a store all by himself, yes it's the parents fault for not being an adult and monitor the kid she decided to give birth to. Same with Jessica Lunsford, Mark left the door unlocked in todays society. Anyone with brains knows you do not do that today, period! Also, typical, accuse someone of being a sex offender, you have been so brainwashed by the media. The sheeple shall follow!!!

Listen, I did not accuse you of being one of them. I simply asked, and you never answered. And why should we have to be with our kids 24/7? I pay my taxes so the local and federal authorities can protect me and mine from the sick people of this world. At some point, we have to let our children spread their wings and pray that there aren't any predators nearby.

Seriously there is no way that we can protect our children 24/7. I'm sorry but whether my child is 2 or 32 - it is still my child. And I want to feel comforted in knowing that not only did I raise them to be safe and alert for any potential threat that may come thier way - but that when they take every procaution necessary and some crazy gets under thier radar - that our law enforcement and the laws that govern us will step in when our own caution is not enough.

Are you with your kids 24/7?Are you with them on the playground at school to protect them from a drive-by? Are you with them in the car when they take a drive to the gas station to fill up the tank where someone could rob them at the pump?Are you with them on prom night when a teacher could take advantage of them? are you there when they are walking a college campus so that some mad man doesn't shoot them down?

If you get elected, what is your policy on the sentancing of sex offenders...especially children. I am a mother of an offended child. I see offenders loose to recommit crimes againsts our children. Leaving them scared for life or worse. I beleive we are tierd of paying for rehabilitation that is not working. Tell me how you will change the current system.

You hear EVERYDAY that a registered sex offender is hurting children?? I find that hard to believe, show me the stats! It's easy to spout rubbish, but it's a lot harder to back it up with facts.

I have to agree with ZMan, what are YOU doing to protect your child? Why does the government have to do your job, they didn't make you reproduce...did they?
