She Has To Hold My Hand // Jack and Kate (AU)

Hello everyone! Finally got this finished! Its quite a complicated story so I'll explain what you need to know to watch it first, then afterwards finish a summary of the plot for after you've watched it.

Right first of all;
Purple = Future
Normal = Present
Black and White = Pre-crash memories
Slightly black and white = Post-crash memories.

READ BEFORE WATCHING

So, basically, in the future Desmond in quizzing Jack about girl he had said he had let down in the past. Jack and Kate met on a plane (Kate isnt a fugitive), fell in love and got married. Then they go on another plane, which (of course) crashes. As a result of the crash, Kate badly hits her head leaving her with severe amnesia; she can't remember Jack at all. After being patient and living on the island for a long time Jack becomes upset, frustrated and desperate for her to remember.

WATCH NOW. READ THE REST IF NEEDED. DO NOT KEEP READING IF YOU DON'T WANT THE PLOT TO BE SPOILT!

So, in the present, Jack is getting frustrated with Kate that she still can't remember him or their marriage. Kate believes him and is really upset that she can't remember. After talking to Charlie she realised that memories are so important so she rushes into the arms of Jack. She gets a flicker of a memory of a kiss from the past and kisses him, but then runs away. She apologises to Jack for running and for not believing him in the past.

They then both become kidnapped by the others. Jack tells Kate that he made a deal - the Others would let everyone leave the island but would only let Jack go free. He tells Kate that she will be safe and that when she is safe he want hers to tell him the story he told her when she first lost her memory.

However, the others tricked Jack. It turns out that the deal is he has to choose for everyone to leave the island or his wife. If he chooses rescue for everyone; Kate dies.

Kate gets taken away by Juliet and handed a walkie-talkie. She knows her fate and even though she is not safe she begins telling Jack the story because for her its her first memory of him. As she tells it they re-live the early moments they spent together on the island; the crash, Jack telling the story, when she first couldnt remember him and when he told her that it didn't matter that she couldn't remember because he loved her.

She realises that the story is about her. Jack fixed her. Jack saved her. Then in the last few moments she remembers their history, their real meeting and marriage. She screams that she remembers him as Juliet pulls the trigger....
