@Dac719 Back in the day, people would actually consider camping a real vacation. And so people would go to parks like yellowstone, and bears would be semi tamed. so people were generally less afriad of them in park settings. obviously bears were not really tamed and attacks occasionally occure,d which led to rules about not feeding them`
