@eljay345 I totally agree with you, Journey is touring with a singer who imitates Steve Perry, he brings nothing new to the band, they are singing the songs that Steve wrote or co wrote, the band is nothing without steve Perry.

New Journey holds no interest for me whatsoever anymore without Steve Perry. It is a total insult not only to Steve Perry but to the fans who remember Journey with Steve as lead singer that 'that band' is still known by that name now.It was Steve 'The Voice' Perry who gave Journey the massive fanbase and the hits they had worldwide back then. New Journey has to tour with other bands now so that proves to me it does not have the fanbase it had with Steve Perry. I do not think it ever will again.

@VeryStevePerry i agree 100 %, if Schon wants to carry on his band OK, but he has to stop having Arnel mimick Steve with every song that belongs to Journey featuring Steve singing. Arnel is trying so hard to copy Steve that it is a joke. Let Schonn wright new stuff and see if Arnel can sing it. I can guarantee he can't , because Arnel can't bring originality to the songs, he can only mimick Steve. Anything Schonn writes will be crap if Arnel is singing, because he has nothing to draw on

O.K. we are all entitled to our own opinion and the selfish money grabbers just couldn't wait and decided to carry on without Steve Perry. The way they treated him was disgraceful after all the success he had brought them. They can get anyone to sing as far as I am concerned but Journey will never be the same now.
