Superman - for Sega Mega Drive Genesis - 1992

Automatic demo clips. This Superman title was released by Sunsoft in year 1992 for the Mega Drive / Genesis console. It is a traditional single player side scrolling platform video game where the player controls Superman through various levels in an effort to defeat the evil Brainiac and other super villains including The Prankster and Metallo.

Today the game has become something of a collector's item, because it is hard to find, and is often not listed among the various Superman video games.

Ah yes. The game I rented as a kid where you play a Superman who is only OCCASIONALLY allowed to fly. Bummer. But hey this game has the same sound effects as the Batman movie game! And oh look, Superman can spin through the ground like in the 1st movie!
