  • I agree with Michelle. I though she skated with a lot of "spirit and spark" at Nagano. She lost because Tara did two 3/3 combos and Michelle did not do any.

  • @tinymavy It's been many years since the Olympics in 1998. Everyone has their opinions as to why Michelle didn't win the gold. In my eyes, she won gold. Though I can see how Tara won as well. Michelle did not skate 100% at the Olympics. She was more like 90% or 85%. Tara, however, skated her absolute best possible. 100%. And, normally, the difference in tech wouldn't have made a difference. But Michelle under-rotated her second triple loop, as well as the "lip" and wonky landing.

  • She did have spark at the Olympics! I loved this performance and the fluff is too touching and sad. She is still the best skater that ever lived, and you could tell by her longevity and her grace :)

  • Beautiful. I love this song.

  • I honestly can't think of anyone with better musicality. She is a true legend, y'all.

  • Lea salonga from Les mis dream cast

  • @DarrenInCA 1998 was an extraordinary peak (see her Nationals, and Worlds, and her "Keri Lotion" skates; and her "World Pros" "East of Eden"). But I agree: she had an exceptional number of peaks.

  • This program, like "Romanza," was perfectly suited to her age. In addition to being pretty and delicate, it has a wonderful innocence.

  • @clairekerrypike I think it's Kaho Shimada from the Les Miz Symphonic album.

  • @clairekerrypike I don't know, but I think it's Frances Rufelle.

  • @inlovewithJLT who sings this version of the song.

  • @CillaPriscilla i've often dreamed of making love to you, cilla...

  • this is why the Olympics should change the rules to allow music with lyrics in the singles events

  • @tinymavy I think she hit her absolute peak during the 2000 skating season. To me, her jumps were just perfect then. Her Worlds 2000 performance showed absolute MASTERY of every triple she did. All were extremely clean, good height and ice coverage, speed into and out of them, fully rotated, with beautifully extended landings. She was, in my opinion, hell on ice skates then. ;-)

But 1996 to 2000 were her peak years in many regards. But she had more than one "peak" if you asked me.
