v1.4 Xbox. 2 7000mcd 3mm LEDs in each controller port, and a blue power light. The secondary power lights (also known as the error/red light) are RGB Chasing LEDs.
The no video cable power LED code (both power & error LEDs lit) is somewhat interesting to look at. You cant really see the RGB too well, because the blue LEDs are extremely bright in comparison. Instead you see quick flashes of purple every once in a while.
4" Cold cathodes were modified to fit the case, using a mini-hacksaw to crack the protective plastic casing off the glass tubes. After both plastic cases were off, they were mounted with 5 minute set clear epoxy. The 80mm round cathode was mounted with the same epoxy.
The cathode inverter cases were popped off, and the PCB was first put in 1" diameter heatshrink tubing, shrunk, then wrapped in tin foil, which was afterward wrapped and covered with electrical tape. I did this to prevent possible problems that occur when the inverters are placed too close to hard drives. As an extra safety precaution I also tucked the inverters behind the DVD drive. Luckily there was enough room for two, and possibly a third-- Though I don't reccomend using more than two inverters in an Xbox.
